About Us

Platinum Plus Pools started back in 2000, as a side-stint college student Jon Harting did as he put himself through school.  As time progressed, so did his library of knowledge of swimming pools and expertise as he continued running his small business, performing repairs for other servicemen and even began to manage a retail swimming pool store in Tustin, CA.  In addition to these experiences, many hours of training have been accumulated at various industry shows, such as the annual WEstern Pool & Spa Show, which offers factory-training classes from various manufacturers.

Jon continued to run his business and successfully obtained a bachelor's of science degree in biology from California State University, Fullerton.  Now with 10 years experience under his belt, Jon began to focus on growing the business and has been fortunate enough to work with the best people in the field.



Jon Harting - General Manager

Responsible for daily operations, sales, marketing, customer service and service calls.  Jon has a B.S. in biology from CSUF, has logged over 100 hours in factory-training seminars, over 10 years experience running the business and is dive master certified.


Pat Patrocinio - Service Manager

Responsible for service maintenance operations.  Pat maintains a full-time route and has over 15 years experience!


Nicholas Mutch - Serviceman

Performs supplemental assistance for certain jobs.


Joshua Myers - Underwater Diver

Performs highly-skilled underwater repairs.  Josh is a NAUI SCUBA instructor and fully-licensed commercial diver certified from the College of Oceaneering.  Ask to get in contact with Josh if you're interested in getting SCUBA certified by an expert.
